Hello there!

I am Ana-Maria. I am in my 30s, and I’m a Romanian living in Norway (for a few years now)!

I was born with a rare genetic disorder called Osteogenesis Imperfecta, and while some days can be a pain in the ass, a thing that has been constant throughout the years is my love for books!

I have always loved books, writing, reading, and just being between the pages. My first real obsession with books started as a child, when a magazine with a cat named Tom conquered my heart, and for the next few years I begged my mom non-stop to buy it for me lol.

But as time passed and little me grew, I discovered my love for fiction after I won a poetry contest in Bravo Girl magazine lol. I won 3 books; among them, there was Empire of Dragons or Imperiul Dragonilor by Valerio Massimo Manfredi. Is historic fiction with adventure, and I remember it engrossed me SO much that everything went downhill from there.

Then, of course. Twilight ✨

I have saved all my birthday money, and everything I could, to be able to buy all 4 books at once, and by then they were costing around 200 lei, around 40 dollars (many years ago that meant A LOT). But I was obsessed. I remember I stayed way over my sleeping time on a school day to watch the first movie.

But now as an adult, not much has changed!

In my opinion, you’re NEVER too old to read a good Young Adult about kids doing stupid things but making it through life or bad experiences. I am still a fiction lover; however, now I’m more into fantasy and all its sub-genres. From Young Adult to New Adult, as long as they are fiction, I will read them and hopefully enjoy them!
